Here you will find my gun modifications and any ideas I may have that might help someone.

This is not a mod but for CZ fans it should be cool.

I down loaded the CZ cut-away jpegs and made my own 8.5x11 prints.  I took the jpegs to my brother-in-law who has a color laser print and printed them on heavy weight glossy presentation paper.  The paper was $22 for 100.  Here are the links to the pages that contain the jpegs.  CZ Download centre - public area  This page also has their catalogs, manuals, spare parts, posters and screensavers. 

CZ-452 American swivel wood stud installed on a CZ-511 so Uncle Mike QD swivels could be used.

Paper brass catcher I created.

Here is a brass catcher I developed.  It's made out of card stock paper, tape and a magnet.  Try it you will be surprised how well it works.  The final one a made used a strong magnet I got from a hobby store.

CZ-511 Recoil Spring Mod

Over all Results were good but not perfect.  Before I could only shot CCI Blazer (1235 fps) or other H.V. ammo but now I was able to shot CCI Standard velocity (1070 fps) and Aguila Standard velocity (1135 fps) with no jamming.  I still had jamming problems with CCI Subsonic (1050 fps) and Aguila Subsonic (1025 fps).  As for my favorite Aguila Sniper Subsonic (950 fps), no way would it eject correctly.

This was a good mod and I'm glad I did.  Now I can use better ammo and it's allot easier to pull the bolt back.
